A Powerless Kid With a VERY Powerful Sidekick
Juston Seyfert and Tom Skylark have suspiciously similar stories - both human kids who discover and fix up a damaged Sentinel, winning the mutant-killing robot’s respect and turning it into a force for good by reprogramming it for heroic ends. The big difference is in time period - Juston Seyfert exists in Marvel’s present, whereas Skylark is a member of the future X-Men shown in Grant Morrison and Marc Silvestri’s iconicNew X-Men #151. Technically the bodyguard of Kid Gladiator - who joined the X-Men to study at Wolverine’s Jean Grey School for Higher Learning - Warbird fought alongside the mutant faculty against enemies including the Marauders and Exodus. Warbird’s time on Earth allowed her to explore her passion for art - something which was discouraged by Shi’ar culture.

11Mimic, aka Calvin Rankin
This Human Mutate Has the Original X-Men’s Powers
Calvin Rankin’s Mimic first gained powers after being exposed to his father’s experiments, debuting in Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’sX-Men #19with the powers of the original five X-Men- Cyclops, Jean Grey, Iceman, Angel and the Beast. Mimic also has the ability to copy the powers of mutants in his vicinity, although in that case they aren’t permanent.
While Mimic is technically powerful, he lacks confidence in his abilities and has never lived up to his potential. This is in contrast to the alternate-universe version of the hero fans know from theExilesfranchise. Likely to be the most controversial entry on this list, Longshot was introduced as a genetically engineered humanoid created in the dimension known as Mojoworld. Originally believed to be a human mutate, it’s since been revealed that Longshot is an altered clone ofthe mutant warrior Shatterstar, who is his biological son (the two exist in a time loop.) Longshot isn’t a perfect clone of Shatterstar, raising the question of how much he can be considered a natural member ofhomo superiorand how much he’s a unique genetic entity created using Mojoworld’s advanced science.
Whatever he is, Longshot is incredibly powerful. He has an advanced physique with strength, agility and regenerative powers far in excess of a human, and can see the past by performing psychometric readings on inanimate objects. However, his most useful ability isthe power to manipulate probability in his favor, making him intensely ‘lucky.’ Longshot enhances his powers with throwing blades which, because of his luck, always hit their target.

Mojoworld’s Mystic Rebel/Enforcer
A human stuntwoman who ended up trapped in the media-obsessed Mojoworld, Spiral was forced to servethe despotic villain Mojo, includingextensive surgeries to graft multiple arms onto her body. Mojo trained Spiral as both a warrior and a sorcerer, but as her skills grew, so did her outrage at being forced to serve him.
