On top of that,it will be hard for the trio to return home. Ruth’s connection to Leonard and Mike and Remy’s connection to the crime family and the murder case means that they will have to face some serious problems if they come home, and that’s not even considering the consequences of the heist. AlthoughThe Stickyseason 1 ends on a note of triumph, it seems that the gang hasn’t fully thought out how they are going to carry their plan forward.

9How Did Jamie Lee Curtis' Character Survive?

After The Fall In Episode 5

The Stickyseason 1 finale’s mid-credits scene features a major reveal, with it showing thatJamie Lee Curtis' Beauis still alive. Beau is another member of the crime family that Mike is part of, with her learning about the heist and forcing Ruth, Mike, and Remy to let her take over. At the end of episode 5, however, Beau accidentally falls from the mansion’s second floor, with her seemingly dying. The trio puts her in a freezer, hiding her body and attempting to leave town before Charlie finds out.

A bloodied Beau appears in the hospital in the mid-credits scene, with her having tracked down Martin. It isn’t explained how Beau survived the nasty fall, how she escaped the elevator, or how she found Martin. All of these questions are still complete mysteries by the time that credits roll onThe Stickyseason 1, although it does set her up to return as the main antagonist ofThe Stickyseason 2.

8Will Charlie Come For Mike?

The Phone Call Suggests Yes

While Beau is scary,The Stickyseason 1 has an even scarier villain lurking in the background: Charlie. Charlie is the son of the boss of the crime family that Mike belongs do, with him being incredibly dangerous. Mike accidentally shot Charlie after the candy truck incident, getting him in hot water with the criminal. Charlie calls after Beau’s seeming death, with him sounding incredibly upset at Mike’s role in the syrup heist.

This phone call at the end ofThe Stickyepisode 5 sets up that Charlie will either be coming to Canada or sending some of his men to Canada, with him clearly wanting revenge on Mike. This raises the stakes ofThe Stickyseason 2, as an entire crime family may be attempting to find and kill Ruth, Mike, and Remy, and it is all because of Beau’s accidental injury in season 1.

7How Is Martin Connected To The Crime Family?

Martin is the husband of Ruth inThe Sticky, and despite him being in a coma, he will be a major player once again inThe Stickyseason 2. In the mid-credits scene, Beau arrives at Martin’s hospital room, with her seemingly wanting to use him as part of her plan. Upon seeing him, Beau mentions that it has been a while, hinting that they have a history. Mike makes a similar comment about his loyalty to Martin in an earlier episode, proving that Martin has ties to the crime family in some way.

However,Martin’s criminal background is never explained inThe Sticky, with his connections to these prominent criminals proving that he has some sort of a shady past. If Martin comes out of his coma inThe Stickyseason 2, this history can be explained, highlighting why all these criminals know about this humble Canadian syrup farmer.

6Will Beau Kill Martin?

She Found Him In The Mid-Credits Scene

Jamie Lee Curtis' Beauhas shown that she is incredibly violent and willing to kill, with her constantly threatening Ruth, Mike, and Remy throughout their time together inThe Stickyseason 1. Because of this, the fact that she ends season 1 with Martin is incredibly scary, potentially putting Ruth’s husband in nature. Her plans with Martin haven’t yet been explained, but it is doubtful that her intentions are anything but bad.

It seems likely thatBeau wants to use Martin to lure Ruth and the other two thieves back home, allowing her to get revenge. Part of this plan could involve killing Martin, as it would be the best way to hurt Ruth after her role in the heist. There are all kinds of scary possibilities regarding what Beau could do next, but almost all of them involve Martin getting used or hurt.

He Knew Remy Was Involved

The murder of Orval is one of the biggest storylines inThe Sticky, with it being set up in the very first scene of the show. Early in the heist’s planning stages, Mike kills Orval, the best friend of Remy who initially worked with him to steal one barell of syrup a month. Mike stole Remy’s gloves and wore them to kill Orval and hide his body in one of the syrup barrels, leaving the gloves behind as a way to frame Remy.

This is clearly an attempt to protect his son, but it does raise a question of why Remy’s father thinks that this is a good idea. Further investigation will only lead to the police discovering Remy’s role in the murder, and Remy’s father will only be in a worse situation at that point.

4Will Remy Continue To Trust Mike After His Killing?

Their Final Moments Are A Bit Confusing

While being tortured by Beau, Remy discovers that Mike was the one behind the killing of his best friend Orval. This creates an immediate strain in their relationship, as if Mike is willing to kill Orval, he is probably willing to kill anyone. Despite this distrust being set up, Remy and Mike seem to be OK with each other by the end ofAmazon Prime Video’sThe Stickyseason 1, with the season ending as the duo cheers and drives away in the tanker truck.

The fallout of Mike’s Orval revelation will have to be explored inThe Stickyseason 2.The relationship between Remy and Mike and Remy’s distrust over Orval’s murder can’t be left unresolved, as a major reveal like this would undoubtedly have an impact on their criminal partnership.

Leonard in The Sticky

3Will Leonard Connect Ruth To The Heist?

He Knows She Has It Out For Him

One of the many loose ends at the end ofThe Stickyseason 1 is Leonard, the head of the syrup organization that Ruth is constantly feuding with throughout the show. Ruth and the gang steal the syrup from right under Leonard’s nose, with them also burning down one of his construction sites during the process.

Due to Ruth’s behavior throughoutThe Stickyseason 1,it won’t take Leonard long to discover that Ruth was involved with the heist. On top of that, the fact that Remy was a man on the inside will also be easy to spot for Leonard, furthering his role in the hunt for the thieves. Leonard will probably play an even bigger role inThe Stickyseason 2, with him potentially pointing law enforcement in the right direction.

2Will The Trio Try To Steal More Syrup?

After The Success Of Their First Heist

Stealing the maple syrup has already worked once for Ruth, Mike, and Remy, meaning that they may try again. Although the trio already has millions of dollars worth of syrup, there is still a lot left at the warehouse. It is entirely possible that they could go back for more, especially if they aren’t caught and the process of selling their first batch goes well.

1Will The Syrup Heist Thieves Get Caught?

Based On The True Story

A lot of people want to catch the thieves after the end ofThe Stickyseason 1, with the biggest question heading into season 2 having to do with if they will get caught. The police aren’t far behind the trio, meaning that they could very well connect Remy to the heist and track all three thieves down. On top of that, the cast has to be worried about getting caught by Mike’s crime family, meaning that two parties are attempting to chase the team down.

In the real Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist, the thieves were eventually caught, meaning that there is precedent for the main characters inThe Stickyto be caught as well. However, there is still another season of stories to tell, meaning that they will most likely still be running from the consequences at the start ofThe Stickyseason 2.
