9Anaak vs. Everyone

The first season ofTower of Godhad unique animation and a great art style that made it stand out from other anime shows airing at the time. WhileTower of Godseason 2’s art style is a massive downgrade, the first’s was able to get the most out of every fight. Anaak Jahad’s fight in the Crown Game is a great example of the top-tier animation the first season put forward. The Crown Game is one of the best fights in the series, and Anaak is at the tip of the spear.

Anaak tells Hatz and Shibisu to stay back so she can handle everyone herself. She then makes quick work of three attacks using the Green April, one of the 13-Month series of weapons. It’s an awesome display of Anaak’s poweras she becomes one of the stronger characters in the series later on.

8Entrance Exam

A Free for All Brawl

The Second Floor in the Tower was Evankhell’s. She wanted to clear out as many entrants as possible, reducing the number of entrants from 400 to 200. It’s an insane moment asBam sees violence all around him. He’s attacked by a swordsman, who dies to an archer, who is then shot by a sniper. Bam is basically a pacifist at this point in the series and spends most of the test running away from everyone trying to attack him.

Tower of God Trades Season 1’s Charm for Greater Worldbuilding in Season 2

Bam’s journey looks wholly different in season 2 of Tower of God, and while season 1’s charm is absent, in its place is excellent worldbuilding.

He wins a fight against Rak Wraithraiserby refusing to fight entirely. When Rak refuses to join a team with Khun and Bam so they can all pass the test, Bam throws his Black March to the ground before telling Rak to attack him. It’s a tactic that works perfectly, as Rak is only interested in fighting people with strong weapons. Bam and Khun then climb the giant crocodile, solidifying their bond as a team and passing the test on the Second Floor.

Tower of God

7Ran and Nozick vs. Torasuke

The Right Hand of the Devil

The second season ofTower of Godsaw Bam join a new team, Team Sweet and Sour, while Khun began to search for him. Both of their paths finally crossed again at the Hand of Arlen, where Bam went to find Torasukeand Khun took Ran and Nozick to find Cassano. Torasuke, Ran, and Nozick are the first three to meet in the Hand. Ran and Nozick see Torasuke and assume correctly, technically, thathe’s the Right Hand of the Devil and attack him.

Torasuke does a great job of holding two separate people back while he defends himself. He activates his Devil powers to increase his speed and strength drastically, keeping Ran and Nozick back until Cassano appears. It’s a great fight that showcases a lot of the powers both Bam and Khun’s new friends possess. It also showsthe funny back-and-forth Ran and Nozick always seem to have.

6Bam vs. Everyone

Jue Viole Grace Is a Menace

Bam is pushed to his death at theend of season one ofTower of Godand was found by FUG. They’re a notorious criminal syndicate looking to take down Jahad and the Ten Great Families as well. They tell Bam that if he wants answers, and to see his friends again, he’ll come with them. Bam then spends the next five years of his life training under FUG, becoming Jue Viole Grace in the process. His alter ego is for his own protection, andit gives a name to his more brutal side.

Viole decides it would be faster to eliminate his potential teammates than to work with them. He fights Wangnan, Akraptor, and Torasuke at once. Bam couldn’t have been a sweeter character in the first season of the series, making his transformation into the lethal Viole jarring. He even tries to assassinate Wangnan andis only stopped by the test’s timer.

5Bam vs. Mazino

Bam vs. One of the Tower’s Strongest

While Bam starts the second season ofTower of Godas the vicious Jue Viole Grace, he eventually comes back to his senses. Sure, he’s become a weapon molded by FUG, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t Bam. He and the rest of Team Sweet and Sour find Urek Mazino inside Zygaena while climbing the Tower. Urek tells them he’ll spare their lives if they leave, but if Bam fails the test, his friends will get hurt.Bam then takes onone of the strongest fighters inTower of Godwithout a moment of hesitation.

15 Best Isekai Manhwa

Cliche or not, these isekai manhwa prove exactly why the trope has stood the test of time and should be on every isekai-entusiast’s list.

It’s a quick fight as the pair only land a blow on each other before Urek leaves. Bam saves Miseng in the middle of the fight as well, sacrificing his body to protect her. It’s a great moment that confirmsBam is still in there underneath all of Viole’s coldness.

4Anaak vs. Endorsi

Rivals Turned Allies

Anaak and Endorsi are two Princesses of Jahad, but they received wildly different treatments throughout their lives. Endorsi has been celebrated and respected, while Anaak has been thrown to the side like a nuisance. Anaak’s mother ran away from the Princesses of Jahad with her lover, having Anaak. Endorsi spends their fight provoking Anaak. She brings up her mother in an attemptto agitate Anaak and it works.

Their ensuing fight might be one of the most personal in the series. Endorsi ends the fight by saying Anaak has never been through anything which couldn’t be further from the truth. The pair end up going over the edge together, losing the fight but gaining new-found respect for one another. Their fight is a good example of why the first season ofTower of Godwas so good. The animation is refreshing, the fight is intense, and it all ends with a great laugh.

3Bam Activates the Black March

The Black March Chose Bam

Bam was chosen by the Black March during the first episode ofTower of God.He needed help defeating the White Steel Eel to pass his first test. When he called on the Black March, it answered, much to Yuri Jahad’s surprise. It shot a beam of powerful Shinisu at the White Steel Eel, pressing it against the cage it earlier dominated. When the weapon asks Bam why he wants to climb the Tower, he responds that he doesn’t.

Bam just wants to see Rachel again. It’s a great moment that proves how humble Bam is.He isn’t looking for the same strength everyone else is, instead he just wants to see his friend. The Black March is one of the 13-Month series of weapons and one of the strongest inTower of God.If Bam was chosen by it the second he stepped into the Tower, he’s probably going to have a lot more good things come his way.

2Yuri vs. Yuga

Yuri vs. Yuga is an interesting fight as Yuri doesn’t really fight at all. She isn’t allowed to fight someone working for the Jahad Empire unless she’s given permission from the King himself. Yuga is actually Lo Po Bia Ren, a high-ranking member of the prestigious Lo Po Bia family sent to the lower floors to kill Anaak Jahad and steal back both the Black March and the Green April. When he finds Yuri Zahad and Kurudan instead, he’s in for a world of trouble.

His bloodlust can’t be helped when he attacks Yuri. Yuri negates his powerful attack without trying and sends Kurudan to clean up her mess. Kurudan destroys Yuga with a single attack. While Ren was only using a clone of a body, the fight still showed Yuri’s patience for her fellow Princesses and impatience for anyone who wants to go against her.

1The Crown Game

Everyone’s Strengths on Display

The Crown Game is several fights in onein the first season ofTower of God.Bam, Khun, and Rak are all in a group together, watching most of the events unfold before they begin their turn. Hatz and Shibisu are more than ready to take on all the people coming for their Crown. Hatz uses his swords expertly to take down two opponents at once, while Shibisu has a great back-and-forth with a female competitor.

The Crown Game isTower of Godat its best. It’s an arc that showcases the best art and animation the series has to offer, plus plenty of great quips. When Bam and Khun take the stage with Rak, Khun gets to finally use his briefcase he brings everywhere to trick the competition andnearly win the game altogether.
